Our officers are all state certified, trained officers that pass a rigid packground check and must pass an extensive training program. Our officers are available uniformed or plain clothed or we can customized our services to meet your sites special security needs. North Pacific Security, Inc. provides THREE levels of trained officers to meet the varied security and budget needs of our clients. Each officer must first pass licensing requirements established by the State of Oregon "Deparmentof Pubic Safety Standards and Training" (DPSST) 12 hour certification course and complete a rigid 10 year background check. After they have completed their basic security training and have been with the company for specific time periods the officer may choose to move up into one of three levels. Reliant Security
The first step in every officer’s training is the required viewing of a series of security training videotapes. Copies of these tapes may be requested for your review. The following topics are covered in our modularized security officer training program. This training is included in addition to site-specific training. All persons hired for positions of security officer are fingerprinted and photographed. The fingerprints are sent to state authorities and the FBI for a complete criminal background investigation. To be employed as a security officer, depending on state regulations, employees must not have been convicted of felonies or serious misdemeanors. All security officers will be licensed in the State of Oregon. Note: Reliant Security® currently has three Executive Managers, as defined by State security officer licensing regulations on staff.

Harbor Security
Harbor Security was founded in 1972 by a veteran Portland Police Captain that set high standards and goals as a basis of our operation. Our early security service utilized boats and autos in the Portland Metropolitan-Tri County area, adding stationary officers soon afterward. We then expanded down through the Willamette Valley to Salem.
